Anthony Lopez is a native of Arizona ! He developed a love for cooking while watching his mother and father cook when he was a kid. His biggest learning lesson from his mother was that she would always cook things from scratch and use fresh ingredients. He soon discovered that he had a special gift when it came to cooking and his mother encouraged him to pursue his career in culinary. Although he feels blessed that he acquired his cooking skills from passed down family techniques, he needed the formal training. It was at the Arts Institute where he first learned and mastered the French techniques and International cuisines. Upon graduation, he became Sous Chef at various restaurants in the valley and, most recently, was at Different Pointe of View – Tapatio Cliff Resort. On his free time, Anthony loves to grill and hang out with his kids.
