Ryan Stemsrud

General Manager

Ryan is a PGA Professional and graduate of New Mexico State University's Professional Golf Management Program, combining a Bachelors in Business Administration with golf management curriculum. Ryan became a PGA member in 1999, while working at the Boulders in Scottsdale, AZ. Ryan was the Head Golf Professional at Sanctuary Golf Club (now McDowell Mountain Ranch) and SunRidge Canyon, then became the Director of Golf at Sedona Golf Resort (Sedona, AZ) and General Manager at Stoneridge Golf Club (Prescott, AZ) concurrently from 2004-2010. From there he managed Shadow Hills in Indio, CA, Old Works in Anaconda, MT, Conestoga in Mesquite, and Springdale GC in Princeton, NJ. Ryan's better half is Kim Stemsrud, and they have sons Kyle (12), Alex (9), and daughter Emma (6). Ryan has seven years of tenure with Troon and looks forward to enhancing the golf and member experience at Sterling Grove.
