Hiking Club January Meet Up

Saturday, January 1 | 7:30am | Meet at the Model Home Park Ramada

In the event it rains on 1/1, the Hike will be rescheduled to 1/8.

The Hiking Club will tackle the Mesquite Canyon Trail to start off the New Year! This trail offers great views and more challenging terrain that is best done prior to the summer heat kicks in.
Explorers: Hike from Parking lot 7 up through the switchbacks to first plateau. This point offers fantastic valley views and is a great spot for pictures. The trail offers a good cardio workout and will be under 3 miles roundtrip.
Adventurers: The group will start with the Explores and go about 3 miles into the canyons towards the Ford Canyon trail intersection (~6 miles roundtrip).

Please bring 2 liters of water, a snack and wear sturdy hiking shoes.
