Hiking Club May Meet Up

MESQUITE CANYON TRAIL @ THE WHITE TANK MOUNTAINS 

Saturday, May 7 | 7:00am | Meet at Model Home Park Ramada

The Mesquite Canyon Trail offers great canyon views over very challenging terrain.

-Explorers: hike from Parking lot 7 up the trail through the switchbacks up to first plateau. This point offers fantastic valley views and is a great spot for pictures. The trail offers a good cardio workout and will be under 3 miles roundtrip. Plan to bring 2 liters of water.

-Adventurers: start with the Explores and go about 3 miles into the canyons towards the Ford Canyon trail intersection (~6 miles roundtrip). 

Please bring 2 liters of water, a snack and wear sturdy hiking shoes.
